Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery

For our patients with problematic spinal conditions, we attempt to utilize non-surgical treatments whenever possible. In cases where surgical intervention is necessary, however, we utilize minimally invasive techniques. The minimally invasive approach uses smaller surgical incisions and damages less tissue, which means less postoperative pain and shorter recovery times. For younger patients, this means that they can get back to their normal activities much faster. For older patients, this means that they have treatment options they would not have had previously because the necessary procedure would have been too extensive and too risky.

The surgical spine procedures we provide include, but are not limited to, microdiscectomy, kyphoplasty, lateral interbody fusion, anterior cervical discectomy and fusion, and cervical disc replacement.
